Home to the MD of Opportunity Recreation & Culture Department, the Lakeview Sports Centre is a beautiful, modern, and highly versatile facility offering a variety of recreational activities and sports programming, and, through our on-site Outreach Centre, a series of arts, events, and culture & social programming to the community.

The Centre houses a 17,500 sq. ft. gymnasium, a two-lane running track, spectator bleachers, a stage, concession, and an art room to not only allow for the rental and hosting of various sports tournaments such as volleyball, floor hockey or basketball, but the facilitation of special events such as concerts, school performances, holiday events, trade shows, boxing cards, and dance recitals.
