The Public Works department has working shops in all area 5 hamlets within the Municipality.

Its is responsible for approximately 300 pieces of equipment which have been delegated and distributed throughout the communities we serve.

There is a licensed and heavy equipment station at the Wabasca shop and the department employs 67 full-time employees and a number of temporary seasonal workers.

The Public Works department maintains the out door rinks all year round:
